As the world changes and adapts to the challenges ahead, we also have been looking at initiatives to
reduce energy and carbon emissions use by using renewables such as solar.
Our solar panels were installed in the summer of 2023. We are already beginning to see the benefits:
The solar panels have saved 2467kg of CO2 from being put into the atmosphere.
(July 2023 — End of Jan 2024) saving of 2800.7kg carbon, or equivalent of planting of 169 trees.
Estimated at a reduction of 5000kg CO2 per year or the planting of 300 trees per year.
We had our first electric car charging station installed back in 2022. As our electric vehicle fleet increases,
it's entirely possible that some vehicles will be powered solely by electricity produced on site.
